Defend the Fatherland! (3.0) - File Description  


Description:
This is a new version of one of an old map, Defend the Fatherland. this version is completely different and in in the authors opinion much better. There are however a few flaws and recommendations.

Bugs:
On the allies side there is a Blitzkrieg Mod tank commander that cannot be removed.
The searchlights don't always work.

Recommendations
We recommend using Blitzkrieg mod for this map as this map was designed with it in mind.

"Defend the Fatherland Version 3 readme"

Well after searching and searching for a pure defense map, I came upon my older map named Defend the Fatherland. So I thought, "why don't I make the map better", so I did.

INSTALLATION
place the files located in the "defend the fatherland" file into your "CompanyofHeroes/Data/scenarios/MP folder

This version of Defend the Fatherland is completely re-done. In fact it bares no resemblance to the original. Enough of the boring details, lets get down to the story...

(this story is made up and has no historical accuracy at all)

It is June 1945, with the bridge at Remagen destroyed and no clear passage into Germany, the allies needed a new way into the Fatherland. After a young private took a break to take the browns to the superbowl in the woods, he stumbled across a sight for sore eyes (not a toilet). A large secret passage way into Germany. The Allies quickly rushed everything to the passage, Shermans, Churchills, Rangers,Everything.

Now you and yes i mean you, can choose your side, the Germans' defending their home turf, or the Allies: attacking the enemy turf, the choice is yours, GET OUT THERE SOLDIER!!!

Posts: 142 		I have turned this into an sgb file and put it in mp sp and the place in my docs, but it soesn't show up in the map list. I have 2.602. Maybe the map list gets full.

I need to play this!
