About the file
Majorcamo brings us not one but 3 maps for your Skirmish and Multiplayer enjoyment.
Staff Impression
Continuing his promising start, Majorcamo has learned from previous mistakes. Getting the bad things aside first - well, rather constructive critism - texture and object placement could still use some improvement, using the height-tool more frequently would improve the tactical depth too.
However, the improvements are visible and I strongly encourage you to continue creating maps. 
Maps included are:
- Slaughter Field (German supply base to be conquered or defended)
- Body Count (D-Day style map)
- Rhine (Based on the city of Remagen, famous for its bridge)

Well after getting a new computer and fixing my worldbuilder im back with much more experience and talent.
these maps are mostly complete but ive ran out of ideas and i would like the players to point out the flaws so i may fix them
again i reccomend using company of heroes mod installer
These maps are different because they dont have strategic points and all the units are given to you, such as in real life.
Slaughter field:
Setting-The allied armies are advancing but one german stronghold remains. although they have been cut off and hammered with airstrikes. but the stronghold stands strong with trenches, a giant supply depot, and a entrenched area vehicle depot.
terrain-mostly wrecked vehicles and both sides have a defense although the german's is stronger. i would reccommend either having medium or low setting set so you dont lag.
THIS MAP IS 100% FINISHED, BUT YOUR FEEDBACK IS WELCOMED
THE RHINE:
Setting- well as it says in the title, this map is based around the rhine river. the german side has the last of the german reinforcements and most of the city. the allies side has an artillery emplacement some of a city and hills and trees,note a terrain is concrete but no building are on it, this will be fixed soon.
THIS MAP IS 80% FINISHED
Body count-this is the most unfinished map so really dont get mad at me, this map is a mix of a beach landing and open terrain
THIS MAP IS 45% FINISHED

Lots and lots of tanks to start with - brilliant - reminds me of the 200 cap mod. I think more people should make maps like this - one was like the film zulu with the enemy constant constantly attacking.
Rhine - why did you block the bridge across? I wanted to attack so much!
Slaughter Field. Tiger tank and pak etc can't get out! Therefore useless. Stop tanks from firing through hills near allied base.
Body count - a few less Hotchkiss and access on the bridge as the tanks there cannot go anywhere; make the countryside fun.
Majorcamo - your ideas are fresh and unique - taking away the fuel and ammo etc, and giving dumps - this is outstanding and new.
I BEG you to FINISH these maps with or preferably without CP's. The design is brilliant. I want to play this kind of map.

hockeyshooter From: (nr Milton Keynes, UK) Joined: February 9th, 2008 Posts: 166 | I would recommend you work on getting just one map done than three at once. Making a decent map really is a lot of work.
Some issues to consider:
maxplayers in the .info file of Body Count is set to 3 not 2 meaning the map doesn't appear in the game's internal map list.
There are indestructible Bofors in Slaughter field and at least two rocket batteries can't make it out of their starting bunker.
Your ground textures are the same all over.
Your map doesn't extend outside your playing area.
Having said all that - don't give up! |

There are boxes that you can place on the map and raise or lower as necessary specifically for shot blocking. They actually look like errors when you place them since they're just wireframes with writing on. But that's what you need to use. |
