Operation Baytown (v2) - File Description  


Description:
The return of $ TEXAS $ sees the return of the super popular 6 player map that is based on the BattleField 1942 - Road to Rome map of the same name; Operation Baytown takes place in Italy at the point between Sicily and the boot tip of Italy where an invasion by the Allies took place. Although this is based on the Road to Rome map, that is as far as the similarities go, there is a lot more detail and some new terrain in this download. Operation Baytown will have each player start high up on a cliff, each team will have to navigate down the cliff side, cross the water, and then fight there way up the other side.

    Some fixes in this version include:
    • Fixed a blocked path from the beach to the train station
    • Fixed a car that was blocking a house garison exit
    • Fixed the deck at the center house to allow ungarisoned units to leave the deck


If you think you can survive a battle such as this, and have an urge to jump into the CoH cyber-world, then you have the two most important qualifications for this playing this map, all that's needed now is the third...and you need to click the download link for that!

Description:

Operation Baytown:
A 6 player map: Operation Baytown refers to the Allied invasion of Italy at the point between Sicily and
the boot tip of Italy, This map, which is based of the "Battle Field 1942" "Road to Rome" map Operation Baytown,
contains plenty of cliffs and detail. Although based of BF1942:R2R the map is far from a replica, as you will see
there is a lot more detail and some new terrain. The map allows each player to start high upon a cliff, each
team will have to navigate down the cliff side, cross the water, and then fight there way up the other side. You
could also take the rail bridge which is only accessable by infantry.

**Due to the high level of detail this map may have problems with low powered computers

Instructions:

-Unzip all the files in "Operation_Baytown.zip" to:

"C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\WW2\Scenarios"

Note: "\HP-Administrator\" may go by a different name on your computer


This is a .sga file and does NOT require the "-dev" in the Company of Heroes shortcut
if you already have the "-dev" it's not a problem.
