This is my first Company of Heroes map submission. I recognize there is room for improvements. Lots of room for ground details. To be honest I got tired of working this map and wanted to submit something for review and suggestions. It works well with Eastern Front MOD too.

The premise is the Germans have established a fortress town. Well defended. There are 2 paths across rvier. Netiher can be destroyed.

I find it funnest to play as Germans and have one other German ally. The try and win against 3 Russian or mixed allies.

River of Tears is a 6 player map, divided into two halves. The bottom has more resources, but the top is defended by half a dozen 88's, artillery pieces and mg bunkers covering the only paths over the river.

This is very, very definitely a skirmish only map. The top will always win if the artillery pieces are manned (which the AI doesn't know how to do)

	Readme File: River of Tears 1.1 - Company of Heroes Map This is my first Company of Heroes map submission. I recognize there is room for improvements. Lots of room for ground details. Dude this map is crazy fun. The pathing is great, more like a real landscape. The AI just kept coming from all over, however, it only seemed to try to cross the bridge. Other than that it will be on my fav list for a while to come. Anyone that likes a real challenge should download it.

Lots to look at here

AI attacks nicely on right hand side and the bridge of course. Be careful what you make as there aren't many OPs - and if you start colecting 88's as you are bound to do then it can end up as a defence fest with not enough to make a push.

Well constructed though some areas are infantry only, but you take what you see - go middle or right hand side? I reckon a pure 1v1 could last hours.

It's been quite a while and my mapping skills (what little I had) got rusty but none the less I've constructed a cool (IMO) German fortress map that is ~75% complete. I'm working to have it done this weekend and submitted. I've built it on a historic fortress (using the book "Fortress Third Reich" for accuracy). Best played wuth the Eastern Front mod with 3 allies and 2 Germans.
