Description:
Wolves69 has sent in his great looking map for the gaming enjoyment of the Company of Heroes community; This map is geared for 4vs4 player action that will have you battling it out for cyber-space supremacy! The Big Defence comes loaded with some sweet features that will keep your interest level high, such as:
  • Day-night cycle
  • Some weather change
  • Light & heavy rain & storms
  • Lighting
  • Fog
    There are lots of weapon items on floor at both sides near middle cliff & many more weapons AT, mortar & HMG for both sides; Both sides also have the gear to make for a battle-halting defence:
    • Allis:
      • 4 x 88mm flaks
      • 8 x MG bunkers
      • 2 x Artillery
    • Axis:
      • 4 x 88mm flaks
      • 8 x MG bunkers
      • 2 x Artillery

    Readme File:
    I making map The Big Defence on worldbuilder 4v4 map. Both sides allied & axis lots defence, Axis - 4 88mm flaks & 8 MG bunkers 2 artillery. Allied - 4 88mm flaks & 8 MG bunkers & 2 artillery. Lots of weapons items on floor both sides near middle cliff & many more weapon AT & mortar & HMG both sides, but problem CPU can't pick up AT & HMG & mortar & CPU didn't use artillery, only can pick up weapons item. Best multiplayer can pick up anythings.

    Day-night cycle & some change weather light & heavy rain & storm & lighting & fog.

    28.10.07 4:27pm - New pictures added weather & day-night cycle
    4.11.07 7:05pm - I changed zipper folder much better added new mini map in game set up & loading screen, I been found info from website tutorials how making slots & base. Sga file no good because in game set up no mini map slots & no loading pictures.
    Same map but improve 2 wide - brigde (middle) & under shallow water, keep free flow, when narrow - CPU alway jammed.
    New atomsphere from The Valley map


    Copy all files from downloaded
    Easy put in folder - (C: )Program files>THQ>CompanyofHeroes>WW2>Data>scenarios>MP paste here

    This looks ok... but i can't see too much detail in the landscape or buildings, etc. anyone tried this yet?

    i did it rock so much i tried it with vanilla, Kmod, CommandoMod, Revolution, NhcMod and it ruled everytime go for it mates!!

    can you tell me how to have unique color for each player like your 1st screenshot? (mod or special function in worldbuilder)

    There no mod or special, only normal games company of heroes opposing fronts. In games 'main menu' go to 'option' - 'gameplay' on list bottom list - 'show player color' turn on, can see player allied & axis term color dots on mini map, blue (me) not yellow & red, nice color.

    Your map keeps crashing half-way through loading but your readme doesn't indicate what patch is required or if this map is for Opposing Fronts?

    I was wondering why I couldn't play this on vCoH. It's an OF map.

    Ah well. From what I see, (and because of my love of defense,) I'll give this an 8.

    I wish there was a vCoH version, though.

    I can see his preloaded horizon mesh off in the distance, a cheaper way of doing it, and I'm trying to figure out why so many map makers put ammo here when there is no major objective to obtain this ammo. Or fuel. Its just sitting there in an empty field. And things start to look cartoonish and everyone loves it.
