Description:
This map is an all out war fought over a desert no-mans-land. Fighting is fierce along the side corridors and atop the hills of the central points. Tank warfare rules but can be disrupted with minimal AT guns and 88's. The map is very balanced.

This map has been miscategorized as a 6 player map. It's actually 8.

As allies the middle ammo point is inaccessible to infantry. Though I can air drop into the spot. smile

A bit small for an 8 player map. If you were infantry company, your 105's can span the entire map.

nice downloading now will this map only run if there is that -dev thingy at the end of the shortcut?
becasue i play the kmod nations at war mod i have no idea where to put it "Cstick out tonguerogram FilesTHQCompany of HeroesKMODMod.exe" the shortcut looks like that but i dont know where to put the -devconfused

Yes, it needs the 'dev' version to play. Originally it was going to be an eight player map, bu i tested it and it was too crazy, so i toned it down to six, i didn't have any accessibility problems when i tested it, but i will check for you. Thanks for the comment anyway.

I thought the no mans land style map would be cool to try for COH. Bombardment for howitzers and so forth makes the game fun. When i was testing the map, i played axis with everyone on expert and we were right at the allies bunker wall. I was sure we had won, but they pushed us back and it took us ages to recover.

If you would like o see this map on a larger scale, just ask. Thanks.

I usually test the maps I download as allies first then axis.

It does seem the axis has the defensive advantage with the wall of bunkers. smile

Though playing as hard, as allies, I was able to grab 65-70% of the map and hold it until I had enough AT's to blow through their bunkers.

I had to play airborne due to the inaccessible ammo hill I mentioned on my earlier post. Otherwise, it was an easy map for being small.

No push back from the enemy as you describe in your play test.

As axis, it was a cake walk.

I would be nice for a twice bigger map for the 8 players you've made the map to be. Build spaces are quite cramped though exactly adequate if you pack your buildings together.

The tops of some of the mounds are unreachable, which I assume is an error as those mounds have U-shaped sandbag emplacements that scream 'place machine gun here'.

Kind of a narrow corridor. I've only played this map versus a computer...seems more suited for a multi-player shoot-em up rather than a strategy map.

If you want to just see alot of explosions/carnage without much tactics, well...there ya go.

1 REALLY BAD THING ABOUT IT IS THE FUEL AND MUNISTIONS POINTS NEXT TO THE ALLIES BASES IS U CANT CAPTURE THEM ONLY WAY IS GET PARATROOPERS AND DROP EM ON THATS THE ONLY WAY

to play this map with KMOD: Nations at War you onyl need to the files in the normal place, in WW2 - data - scenarios - mp

# Find the SGA file you are wanting to be able to use with KMOD.
