Posts: 354 | ah, there's nothing quite like a big prelim bombardment akin to the build up to the Somme. When i tested SoC, on the hurtgen map by $Texan$ (i think), i used to place via tthe cheat mod many 25 pdrs and US howitzers. Creaping barrage = very very spectacular when there's about 150 guns doing it over a large front! The funny thing is most of the time i was just wiping out the forest; i never bothered to place an enemy to wipe out. Ah, fun times, but not enough to make me uninstall empire total war to make enough space for OF!  When i get a new comp.... |
